The 40th edition of the Nationale Oldtimer Dag in Lelystad was one to look back on with great pleasure. On Sunday, June 21, the Bataviahaven was once again filled with beautiful classic vehicles, and the event drew a large number of visitors. The atmosphere was excellent, with wonderful stories, memories, and remarkable cars to be found everywhere.
140 years of Mercedes-Benz
Hooper was also present with a number of vehicles from its collection. Among the many exceptional classics, a few models bearing the well-known star on the hood were of course not to be missed. This tied in nicely with this year's theme: 140 years of Mercedes-Benz. Numerous remarkable Mercedes models could be admired across the grounds, fittingly celebrating this special anniversary.
The Nationale Oldtimer Dag once again showed why the event has been a household name among classic vehicle enthusiasts for forty years. From rare cars to special encounters between owners and visitors, it was a day centered on the passion for automotive heritage on the road.
We look back on this anniversary edition with great pleasure and thank the organizers, visitors, and fellow participants for their enthusiastic responses. It was a wonderful day that once again showed how classic cars bring people together and connect generations.

This year, Hooper participated in the 15th edition of the Gijs van Lennep Legend, a rally that has by now secured a permanent place on the calendar of classic car enthusiasts, with social engagement playing an important role. This anniversary edition brought together a particularly varied field of participants, with driving pleasure and the charitable cause taking center stage.

From November 13th to 25th, we took part in the Hainan Open International Classic Cars Rally 2024 – a unique, international classic car rally across the southern island of Hainan in China.
On Sunday, June 15th, we attended the Nationale Oldtimerdag in Lelystad – a leading event that attracts thousands of classic car enthusiasts each year.
