This year, Hooper participated in the 15th edition of the Gijs van Lennep Legend, a rally that has by now secured a permanent place on the calendar of classic car enthusiasts, with social engagement playing an important role. This anniversary edition brought together a particularly varied field of participants, with driving pleasure and the charitable cause taking center stage.

The rally, named after former F1 driver and two-time Le Mans winner Gijs van Lennep, is organized annually by Kiwanis Club Bilthoven, while the route is mapped out each year by the gentlemen of Novus Leo. The proceeds go to a good cause, and this year that was the Bibian Mentel Foundation. This foundation is dedicated to giving children and young people with a physical disability the opportunity to play sports — a wonderful cause that we are happy to contribute to.
A special feature of this 15th edition was the starting location. Participants departed from Hooper, the Bentley & Rolls-Royce Museum in Arnhem. From there, the route led through beautiful Dutch countryside to the lunch location at Landgoed Salentein, and, true to tradition, finished at Landgoed Houdringe in De Bilt.
One of the sponsors of this anniversary edition was Peja Real Estate. The gentlemen from Peja Real Estate took part in a selection of cars from Hooper's collection. Hooper and Peja Real Estate are both part of the Peja Group, and thanks to this involvement from Peja Real Estate, the Hooper Museum was given a prominent role as the rally's starting location.
For Hooper, participating was a great opportunity to connect its collection and passion for historic automotive heritage with a rally centered on driving pleasure and social engagement. Over the years, the Gijs van Lennep Legend has established a prominent position in the rally world, with proceeds always going to a good cause. Hooper and Peja Real Estate enjoyed taking part in the rally and are looking forward to future editions.

The 40th edition of the Nationale Oldtimer Dag in Lelystad was one to look back on with great pleasure. On Sunday, June 21, the Bataviahaven was once again filled with beautiful classic vehicles, and the event drew a large number of visitors. The atmosphere was excellent, with wonderful stories, memories, and remarkable cars to be found everywhere.

From November 13th to 25th, we took part in the Hainan Open International Classic Cars Rally 2024 – a unique, international classic car rally across the southern island of Hainan in China.
On Sunday, June 15th, we attended the Nationale Oldtimerdag in Lelystad – a leading event that attracts thousands of classic car enthusiasts each year.
